Chicago Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson is nothing, if not a man of his word.
During a radio interview with Parkins and Spiegel on 670 the Score on Monday, the 23-year-old former second-round pick honored a bet that he had made, and lost, with a Packers fan ahead of Chicago’s 27-10 loss to Green Bay in Week 2.
"I lost a bet,” Johnson said. “It was a bet against the Green Bay Packers. The bet was if we were going to beat the Green Bay Packers. And I will have to wear this cheesehead. So, I'm going to shamefully grab this cheesehead and wear this in this interview. I'm a man of honor, so I'm going to put this on, sadly."
On with @ParkinsSpiegel, #Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson had to wear a cheesehead to pay off a bet with a friend.

"This is terrible," Johnson says. "Nothing about this damn hat is pleasing."

Had the Bears won, Lauren Sesselman, the Packers fan who bested Johnson in the friendly wager, would have had to wear his Bears jersey.
Instead, Aaron Rodgers threw for 234 yards and two touchdowns, Aaron Jones rushed for 132 yards and a touchdown, and the Packers outgained the Bears 414 yards to 228 yards.
“At the time, I wasn’t too concerned,” Johnson said. “I felt really good going into the game but then toward the end [the bet] started to come into my head and I had some last-second regret.”
