Los Angeles Rams Draft: 3 Must-See Centers At NFL Scouting Combine
Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

Center may become a very high need if Coleman Shelton decides to void the last year of his contract with the Los Angeles Rams. Regardless of how that situation shakes out, Shelton is the only center on the depth chart with Brian Allen gone. So whether it’s in the first day or the last day, the Rams should consider drafting one of these centers

Rams Draft: Must-See Cornerbacks For The Los Angeles Rams

Must-See Centers For The Los Angeles Rams

Graham Barton, Duke, 6’5″ 311 LBS

Graham Barton has finally emerged as the first-round talent that he is. His best ability is versatility. He played tackle at Duke but lacks the elite speed and length to translate to the pros. He also played center his freshman year, and can easily slot in at guard.

That will come in handy if, free agent guard, Kevin Dotson is not resigned.

Sedrick Van Pran, Georgia, 6’4″ 310 LBS

Sedrick Van Pran has played a lot of high-level ball in his 3 years as a starter for Georgia. He was a centerpiece literally and figuratively for the back-to-back championship teams. He allowed only one sack in three seasons, and zero in the last two.

Van Pran would be a nice pick-up in the third round with pick 100.

Andrew Raym, Oklahoma, 6’3″ 315 LBS

Andrew Raym would be a good option as a Day 3 developmental pick if Shelton is retained. He has plenty of playing experience (+2000 snaps) but needs to refine his game to be pro-ready, especially in run blocking.

With his play style and physical traits, he could develop into a starter in the Rams system under Ryan Wendell.
